Company ThQ Nordic launched a series of documentary promo-rollers in which developers from Alkimia Interactive share their considerations regarding the production of Gothic 1 Remake . In the first such video, the authors briefly described their principles for creating a remake and announced a public demo version.
"Demon" will be available https://bradforddisabilitysports.co.uk/ from February 24 to March 3 as part of the Games Festival on Steam. How much content will go into the probe is still unknown. We will remind, earlier only journalists and visitors to last year’s Gamescom exhibition in Cologne could familiarize themselves with the remake.
Let us return to the video – the developers once again emphasized that they took into account the criticism of the audience for the playable teaser of 2019, so that the current version of the remake has practically nothing to do with the original developments. In return Alkimia Interactive I decided to make a remake as close as possible to the original, but more saturated both in terms of visual design and in terms of content.
The target audience of the project is considered old players who are already familiar with "Gothic". In addition to the updated content of the original fans will be pleased with expanded plot lines, new locations and quests, improved elements of interaction with the world and so on. Middle-fight mechanics are still emphasized in the direction of strikes. At first, the protagonist will be weak and clumsy, but as his movement is pumped, they will become more confident and deadly. It is not enough for the development of skills to just kill mobs, so gamers still should look for masters and pay them for training.
Gothic 1 Remake They plan to release in this financial year on a PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game declares complete Russian localization.
